After the recent case of Ransomware attack into the polish company CD Projekt, developers of the videogames The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, now situations escalated one step forward with the code-for-sale auction on the Dark Web.
Today, 11th of January 2021, the price at the moment I’m writing this post, is 7 Million USD, when the starting point point of dale was a minimum of $ 100.000 and expected half-million.
It’s difficult to know how the company will survive to the impact of this attack, apparently with origin in Moscow but not fully confirmed at the moment.
